STARVING
CREATIVES
Welcome n that
The Starving Creatives is a working collaboration between four upcoming, young, and very much starving artists from all over. We aim to break the glass ceiling of the industry by networking with fellow underfunded creatives. We want to inspire and get inspired while doing what we love - art.

The partnership began in 2023, with talks about a possible collaboration and a joke to "just go to Fringe". So we did. lol
See Beach Babe© - at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024!

An existential crisis with your partner is as fun as it sounds...
A couple finds themselves stranded on a melancholy beach. They didn’t walk there; they didn’t drive. It was almost as if they closed their eyes and woke up there. As time passes they remember more and more.

Why a beach?

Who are they?

Beach Babe might seem to be just a silly little play but for us it's a tale of our own experience dealing with grief and melancholy. It is an important play. Also a silly one.
Taking a play to the Edinburgh Fringe is bloody expensive and being four drama graduates with survival jobs does not make it easy.

We want to challenge the glass ceiling of the industry and make sure the voices of small, independent artist are heard loud and clear.

We cannot do it without your help.

Your donation will help us cover the venue and accommodation cost (probs some instant ramen too). Our goal is to collect £500, which may not be much but to minimum wage workers and struggling creatives (or starving if you may) is.

If you have any questions regarding donations or other ways of supporting us please email us at starvingcreativestheatre@gmail.com or drop us a message on our instagram!

MASSIVE THANKS,
the starving team
